Hart's Greenhouse & Florist began in 1980 with a tractor, a few cold frames, and a vegetable stand in rural Canterbury, CT, a cozy town tucked away in the rolling hills of the Shetucket-Quinebaug National Heritage Corridor in the Last Green Valley. Since those early days, we've held on to our traditions of high quality plants and customer service, and we've expanded to three retail locations: Canterbury, Brooklyn, and Norwich, CT. We grow more than a million plants each year for our own stores and for wholesale customers at our state-of-the-art growing facility. We also partner with local Tri-Town grocery stores to bring fresh flowers and plants to their customers.
